Annual Banquet
The Franklin County FFA celebrated their accomplishments and recognized individuals in the community for their support on Friday evening, May 2, at the FCHS cafeteria. Sara Duffy, FCCSC School Board Member, wrote an article about our event. Please follow the link to read her article in the Franklin County Observer. Calling All Franklin County FFA LEADERS!
The 2014 - 2015 Franklin County FFA Officer team is seeking members who want to make a difference in our organization! We need enthusiastic, dedicated members to step up and be a part of the officer team that will steer our organization through a successful year next year!
Why should you be an officer?

- You will gain valuable interview experience!
- You will participate in leadership development activities at our summertime Officer Retreat!
- You will work closely with the other members of our officer team "family."
- You will be a key part of our Chapter's success!
Now is the time to start working on your officer application.
The application can be found HERE.
You will need to "save a copy" in order to type into the application. The completed application is due the Friday before Spring Break to Mrs. Schneider's office inbox. We will hold the interviews the first week of April when we return from break. The interview committee will be made up of FCHS teachers, a current officer, and FFA alumni/agricultural community members. The nominating committee will put together an officer slate, which we will vote on prior to the Banquet. New officers will be installed at our Chapter Banquet on May 2nd!Wednesday, February 26, 2014

Come see what’s new with your local FFA chapter! Refreshments will be served by our officer team. FFA members, alumni, parents, and prospective FFA members are invited.
FFA Week - February 17th - 21st
The week of February 17th - 21st is not only winter homecoming week at FCHS, it is also FFA WEEK! FFA Week is celebrated Nationally by FFA chapters to promote agriculture and leadership. Our Franklin County FFA Chapter is celebrating FFA Week with dress up days, games, prizes and staff appreciation. A different game will be held everyday in the ag shop, and a prize will be given to the winner of each lunch. Games and dress up days are the following:
Monday: Camo Day, and a minute-to-win it game at lunch
Tuesday: Carhartt Day, and a cornhole toss game at lunch
Wednesday: Blue and Gold/ FFA T-shirt Day and a sunflower seed spitting contest
Thursday: Battle of the Brands Day, and a tractor tire toss
Friday: Flannel Friday, and a bale toss
Stop by the Ag Shop for games and prizes during your lunch in celebration of FFA Week!
